avsnet delivers fit-for-purpose collaboration meeting spaces

What drives decision-making at Kia Motors’ UK head office?

Read another case study...Kia Motors is the fourth-largest motor manufacturer in the world. It boasts an ever-expanding product line-up sold through a network of distributors and dealers covering 172 countries around the world. Over 40,000 Kia employees span the globe.

Kia Motors selected avsnet as its chosen partner to upgrade all of its meeting rooms and presentation suites, utilising the latest audio visual technologies and control systems. This involved providing presentation capabilities in six meeting rooms including a new boardroom.

Within the two largest meeting rooms avsnet installed a ceiling mount projector, video conference system and a wall mounted control panel – ideal for presentations, video conferences and TV.

Three medium size meeting rooms each had a ceiling mount projector and wall mounted control panel installed – designed for PC presentations only. This fulfilled all the requirements that were needed throughout the building. avsnet carried out the whole implementation within a week without causing disruption to the employees during this time.

Chris Steer, Systems Analyst at Kia Motors (UK) Ltd: “avsnet did a great job for us. Feedback from our head office staff is extremely positive and everyone is very happy with the refurbishment and the new audio visual technology. The avsnet team was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”

It doesn’t stop there…avsnet carries out additional refurbishment for KIA

avsnet managed another project at The Kia Oval, home to Surrey County Cricket Club. Incorporating existing equipment, avsnet refurbished The Kia Oval’s corporate box.

avsnet installed a new projector screen and ceiling mount projector, creating an ideal environment for corporate presentations. avsnet utilised a floor-mounted cable raceway system that is ideal for environments where audio visual devices require connectivity but are not positioned close to the power, data and AV connections. This enabled the team to configure a laptop connection with minimal disruption to staff and visitors whilst maintaining pleasant room aesthetics.

Chris Steer, Systems Analyst, Kia Motors (UK) Limited: “I was extremely impressed with the work avsnet did for us earlier this year so I was very happy to call them back to carry out our latest refurbishment. I was confident that they would deliver a professional service using the latest technology. Once again they completed the job quickly and without any disruption”.
