Delivering a Treasure Trove of Business Benefits and Outcomes

Provident needed an experienced, flexible audio visual partner… avsnet was on hand to deliver the ultimate workspace.

Initially avsnet was put forward through a recommendation to act simply as a consultant, however after a successful tender, avsnet won the contract to manage the whole project, from the initial concept right through to providing and installing the entire audio visual solution and an ongoing maintenance support contract.

Services included consultancy, design, project management, installation, after sales support and maintenance services.

avsnet proposed an implementation plan which fulfilled Provident’s requirements in both technical and economic terms. The project ran on time and was completed within eight months.

avsnet installed an IP based TV distribution system throughout the entire building, incorporating digital signage, satellite and terrestrial digital TV broadcasts and multiple call centre statistics applications. The statistics applications are used for real-time reporting. Connected to a statistical server, it allows Provident to track telephony events, actions and status.

Digital signage throughout the building has improved effective internal and external communication. The Corporate Communications department can now display messages to large numbers of staff instantly via the new TV distribution system. Until now they have been unable to do this.

The Benefits Don’t Stop There…

avsnet supplied and installed a wide range of industry leading technology across its training rooms, meeting rooms, executive boardroom, contact centres and recreation areas. The integration of all the audio visual equipment enhances the working environment for the staff as well as improving internal communications and therefore efficiency.

Ceiling mounted flat screen TVs were installed throughout the building. The recreation areas also have TVs with a Nintendo games console also featured in one of the rooms. The training rooms have additional capability for playback of DVD and VHS to enhance training facilities.

The meeting rooms feature ceiling mounted video projectors and screens, TV and DVD. The executive boardroom’s primary feature is a LCD video display. The entire structure is operated by a easy-to-use control system and all of the rooms are connected by wall mounted panels in each room.

With comprehensive play out, scheduling and media management capabilities, it is easy to bring vital visual information to the heart of the business quickly and efficiently. There is flexibility to choose exactly what is displayed on each screen remotely.
